Review of Literature – Child Abuse Questionaire
1. Do you believe sexual abuse in early childhood affects the sexual orientation of an individual?
2. What factors may shape a person’s sexual identity?
3. Where does one draw the line between sexual exploitation versus sexual exploration?
4. What other areas of one’s life could sexual abuse influence?
5. Do you believe therapy can truly help individuals in overcoming their trauma?
6. Statistically, adult survivors of abuse have a 5 times greater likelihood of being diagnosed with anxiety issues, what are some methods of therapy that could help decrease this rate?
7. Do you believe our judicial system effectively deals with childhood abuse cases?
8. Is it possible boys internalize their abuse differently than females? Could a higher number of cases remain unrepeated for males due to societal stereotypes?
9. Why do you believe many victims mature into perpetrators of sexual abuse in a perpetual cycle?
10. Does the demographic of age play a role in which an abuse victim’s case is handled?
11. Do you think interfamilial abuse should be more openly discussed within educational programs?
12. Should it be mandatory for victims to undergo psychological examinations after their case is handled?

Long was the way that fate them bore,
O'er stony mountains cold and grey,
Through halls of iron and darkling door,
And woods of nightshade morrowless.
The Sundering Seas between them lay,
And yet at last they met once more,
And long ago they passed away
In the forest singing sorrowless. . .

"The moths beat themselves to death against the lights,
Adding their breeze to the summer nights.
Outside, water like air was great.
I didn't know what I had that day.
Walk a little farther to another plan,
You said that you did, but you didn't understand.
I know that starting over is not what life's about,
But my thoughts were so loud I couldn't hear my mouth."

"I close my eyes, and this image floats beside me. A sweaty-tooth madman with a stare that pounds my brain. His hands reach out and choke me. And, and all the time he's mumbling. . . Mumbling, truth is like a blanket that always leaves your feet cold. You push it, stretch it, it'll never be enough. Kick at it, beat it, it'll never cover any of us. From the moment we enter crying, to the moment we leave dying, it'll just cover your face as you wail and cry and scream."
-Todd Henderson of The Dead Poet's Society

Have you ever been out of the country?: Of course, usually once every year.
Do you believe in god?: yep
Do you believe in yourself?: Not really, I tend to drag myself down half the time for no reason. If that makes any sense.
Do you want to get married?: Not right now, most marriages end up going to hell anyways, and I don't see the point of that much commitment.

I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life. To put to rout all that was not life, and not, when I had come to die, discover that I had not lived."

"Please, remember me,
Finally,
And all my uphill clawing, My dear,
But if i make, The pearly gates,
Do my best to make a drawing,
Of God and Lucifer: A boy and girl,
An angel kissing on a sinner,
A monkey and a man, A marching band,
. . .All around the frightened trapeze swingers."
